The photo above is of one of a few rough cast glass prisms we polished which were to be fitted into the deck of a yacht to separate the light as it passed through into the room below.
(If you are wondering why anybody would want to go to this hassle, they got the idea of light being separated by a prism from the cover of one of the albums their band released...)
We also have had calls just to polish classic car glass, not to get rid of any scratches but to give it that brand new shine back again, as well as calls to remove the mirrored look from the windows of yachts (mirrored windows on yachts were big in the 80s!)
